A Big Thank You - from Bells of the Cascades!
I just wanted to take a moment to share a few thoughts about our consortium piece. This work represents the theme we selected together for our project, and we are very excited to announce that it is now complete. We look forward to sharing it with all of you and hope that you may have the opportunity to perform it with your own groups in the future. It is a piece we are especially proud of, not only because it is so enjoyable to play, but also because it is engaging and joyful to listen to.
Following our Spring concert, we will be providing the consortium awards (or recognitions) to those involved, as a way of showing our appreciation for everyone’s contributions to this project. For those joining us on our upcoming cruise, we are also excited to share that you will have the chance to hear this piece performed live during our shipwide concert on June 21st as we sail to Alaska.
We are incredibly grateful to Matthew for writing such an interesting, joyful, and memorable piece of music. We hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we have enjoyed preparing it.
