Thank you BOC board!

With the close of BOC's fiscal year in August, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the 2025–2026 Board for their dedication and the many ways they have helped move our organization forward. While it's impossible to recognize every contribution made this year, we'd like to highlight just a few examples of the outstanding work these volunteers have done.

Barbara Hughes, our President, provided thoughtful leadership and direction for the Board while also taking on special projects, including creating our beautiful Spring Concert program, managing our grant writing operations, and organizing the successful Read & Ring events this year and last. These events furthered our mission of providing educational opportunities for ringers.

Andrea Schmidt, Member at Large, tackled a long-standing logistical challenge involving the use of our trailer. Thanks to her efforts, we now have a clear strategy in place and are actively implementing it.

Sherry Symington, our Secretary, launched a highly successful community can recycling fundraiser for BOC. To date, the program has raised more than $500, and Sherry already has additional fundraising ideas we hope to implement in the coming year.

Jim Troisi, Member at Large, managed the many updates to the BOC website, including adding online shopping capabilities. This new feature was enthusiastically used by many attendees at our Spring Concert.

Debbie Ivanov, our Treasurer, quickly assumed responsibility for BOC's financial records, mastering a complex role in a remarkably short time. She is now leading improvements to our financial management, including the use of certificates of deposit to increase BOC's income.

Matt Compton, our Director, kept us musically focused and well prepared throughout the year. Under his leadership, BOC's performance of his composition, If All Else Fails ..., was an outstanding success.

Lila DeBolt, Member at Large, helped create procedure documents for many of our events, making it easier for future volunteers to organize them. She also planned and coordinated our wonderful 35th Anniversary post-concert celebration.

Allison King, Member at Large, developed BOC's marketing plan and led our advertising efforts, which contributed to the largest audience in our organization's history at last winter's concert.

To every member of our Board: thank you for your time, your talents, and your unwavering commitment to BOC. As volunteers, you have made a lasting difference, and our organization is stronger because of your dedication. We are deeply grateful for all that you do.
