Teddy has rung bells from a young age when he joined a youth choir at his church. He was inspired by his mom who also played handbells. When his family moved in 2020, his mom, brother, and he started playing at Salmon Creek UMC with Matthew Compton (BOC's director). Teddy has always been musically inclined, taking piano lessons for many years and playing trumpet in elementary, middle, and high school. He later joined the Army reserve band.

Outside of bells Teddy enjoys the outdoors, fitness, and, of course, music. Teddy currently attends Clark Community College in Vancouver.
