Nancy Hascall (Music Director)
Nancy Hascall, a charter member of Bells of the Cascades and its music director since 1997, has been active in handbells since 1979 as a ringer, conductor, clinician, and award-winning composer/arranger.  She has taught and conducted at numerous handbell events throughout the U.S., including The American Guild of English Handbell Ringers and Handbell Exploration International, as well as Canada and Australia Nancy tours nationally as a handbell solo artist and has produced a CD, Ringing from the Heart, consisting of her own arrangements for solo bells, piano, and cello.  A resident of Lake Oswego, Oregon, she rings in the Covenant Bell Choir at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, directs the Sanctuary Bell Choir at First United Methodist Church in Portland, Oregon, and provides private coaching sessions for handbell choirs and soloists.

Nancy's chief "claim to fame" in the handbell world is the development of the "traveling four-in-hand" technique for solo ringing.
